DIY Crib Sheet

Crib 034Materials needed to make a crib sheet

  • 2 yards of fabric
  • 2.5 yards of 1/4 inch elastic

Start by cutting your fabric 68″ X 43″

Then cut an 8″ square out of each corner.

On each of the four corner sew (or serge) the two 8″ edges together with the right sides together. I do not have a serger so I like to do a french seam to hide the edges and prevent fraying, when doing a french seam first sew the wrong sides together followed by the right sides together.

Next you will need to make a 1/2″ casing along the bottom of your sheet for the elastic.

Insert the elastic and you’re done!
